When you need to access any of your stored records, there are two ways to request them:  Call us at 732-722-7777 or email us at CustomerService@planetshred.net and request your records from our customer service staff.


Simply indicate what you need, when you need it, and which of the following delivery methods you prefer:

  • Standard Delivery - same day if contacted before 11am
  • Express Delivery - anytime 24/7
  • Client Pick-up - at our Records Center
  • Scan-on-Demand Service - scanned and sent via encrypted email


24/7 Access to Your Records

All of PLANET SHRED Express pickup and delivery options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You also have the option of scheduling our Viewing Room during business hours if you just need to quickly review a file(s) and then have it returned to storage.


Upon receipt of your request, our records management software is equipped with the latest barcode tracking technology enabling us to quickly and accurately retrieve the box or file you need.  Whether delivering your file to you or picking up boxes to be stored, we’ll make sure that your records are handled in the most secure and expedient manner.

Protecting your records during the retrieval, delivery and pick-up process is the highest priority at PLANET SHRED.  To that end, we’ve implemented strict policies and procedures to ensure the utmost security for your documents and files during each step of the process.


All of our drivers are PLANET SHRED employees who have been thoroughly screened and expertly trained on the handling of confidential information.   Our drivers are always uniformed and equipped with a handheld mobile scanner that verifies chain of custody and records where your records are at all times.  The driver will provide a hard copy receipt documenting the transaction.
